• Fences Official Movie Review: Best D... • Denzel Washington's Fences hits movie theaters on Christmas day. Make no mistake this Fences movie is one of the most gripping and powerful movies of the year. Denzel Washington and Viola Davis give a stellar performance. Not to mention an amazing supporting cast in Mykelti Williamson, Russell Hornsby, Stephen Henderson and Jovan Adepo in this drama. The movie host a virtually all minority cast with major star power. There is already talk of Fences receiving an academy award and it may even be possible for August Wilson to get a posthumous award for best screenplay. Fences has a few problems here and there but there is no question that Fences is a movie deserving of many accolades. Don't let this film pass you by!
