The CRF 300 Rally is the quintessential beginner bike, at least that's what the world has taught us. But in my experience, it's more nuanced than this. • Sure you can modify, upgrade and improve it, but not everyone has the budget, experience or knowledge to do so. And thus what the Rally is, is. a bike that is brilliant at some tasks, but not great beginner bike. • It's a tool for getting you places regardless of ability, not turning you into a great motorcycle rider and those things are very different.
