Is the VANGUARD UK SIPP/ISA MORE EXPENSIVE than the HARGREAVES LANSDOWN SIPP/ISA?! A cost comparison... • The consensus view is that Hargreaves Lansdown is an expensive platform and that Vanguard is the one of the cheapest available! In this video I test this view based on various fund values and on the types of assets held. • As you will see rather surprisingly under certain scenarios the Hargreaves Lansdown SIPP and even more so the ISA are actually cheaper than the Vanguard SIPP and ISA when holding ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). • I couldn't have imagined that it would be possible to hold Vanguard's very own ETFs on another platform at a lower cost.
