A short teaser of Mariachis Transform Tucson -- a documentary film now in production. The film will show the history of mariachis and folklorico dancers in Tucson, and how they transformed Tucson with respect to politics, education, economics and more. • This teaser focuses on Richard Carranza -- now superintendent of schools in the San Francisco district -- talking about creating Mariachi Aztlan de Pueblo High in Tucson, Arizona, and how doing so transformed his life and those of the students who went through and continue to go through that school mariachi program.
