This is one of my favorite pre-contest back movements. It loosens up your shoulder girdle tremendously and gives you much better flexibility. I always see more detail in my back when I do alot of these pre-contest. The two keys are ducking your head down at the stretched part of the movement, and relaxing and letting your lats stretch as well. It is very uncomfortable at first, but you will loosen up over the course of a few weeks.
