SHEARING LAMBS AND EWES Checking a sheeps age teeth and udder

This video is from 2 weeks ago. We shore our blackface store ram lambs as well as some of our mountain ewes that reared pairs of Cheviot lambs over the summer. Because two lambs take a lot of work, the ewes were left off the mountain for the summer and they stayed on lush green fields. Now that the lambs are old enough to look after themselves, it's time to get the ewes back to the mountain to recuperate and gain back body condition before mating/tupping season in November. The mountain is definitely where these girls are happiest!
