One of the two main masses is Sormagir Castle in Boztepe, and the other is Zindan Castle. • Amasra Castle, which was also used during the Genoese period, underwent serious repairs in the 14th and 15th centuries. The length of the eastern walls of Amasra Castle between northeast and southeast is 65 meters, the length of the southern walls with 8 bastions is 300 meters, and most of them were destroyed starting from the Kemere Bridge. The length of the northern walls is about 200 meters.Since the north and northwest of Sormagir Castle descend to the sea as a very steep cliff, no walls were built here. Most of the walls surrounding the east, northeast and west have been demolished, but a 50-meter section of the western walls adjacent to the gate remains standing. In Amasra Castle, there are tower gaps, internal divisions, Genoa coats of arms placed in certain places, and figures such as Eros, Medusa, eagle, and oxhead.
