She had not identified herself, but left some clues in terms of conversations she had with witnesses in Huntsville, as she asked for directions to the Ellis Prison Farm nearby. • The young woman, later classified as an unknown Jane Doe by Walker County authorities, has stumped investigators ever since. She died a violent death, had been assaulted in multiple ways, yet seemed to have come from a middle class, caring home and did not fit the typical runaway teen profile.
