Today we remove and test an EVAP charcoal canister. The canister is designed to hold hydrocarbons from the fuel system when the vehicle is not running. Under normal operation, the vapor is sent to the intake manifold when the engine is operating. This was performed on a 1997 Nissan Maxima.
