EDIT: A FRIEND WHO WORKS FOR A LASER ASSEMBLY COMPANY PUT MINE ON A TEST STAND AND IT NOW PUTS OUT ABOUT 25mW—FIVE TIMES THE LEGAL LIMIT FOR CONSUMER LASERS. • I show how to access and adjust the output power of a Firefield 5mW green laser aiming device (model #FF13037K). • I bought this sight as an experiment into green lasers and have found this particular model to be too big and heavy for permanent mounting on my rifle, but the green laser light is very easy to see during the day. Much easier to see than a red laser. • I have been asked about the laser as a weapon sight and I would not recommend this model. Other than the aforementioned size and weight, the aiming adjustment screws are weak and strip easily, leading me to believe the aiming point would move after repeated recoil cycles. But it is a neat toy. :)
