Hiking Gaustatoppen in Norway

A hike to the top of Gaustatoppen in Norway on a beautiful, clear and sunny day. This was hike 3/3 on my Norway trip and it was quite tough after previously doing 21 miles and 600 miles of driving on the previous 2 days, but it was worthwhile as the views were spectatcular. • From the top of Gaustatoppen you can see 23,000 sqaure miles and 1/6th of Norway - truly magnificient! • The original plan was to hike to the summit which is a further 700 metres along the ridge but due to fatigue we never made it over there but the views where pretty much the same. I plan on going back to Norway in the future to tackle the true summit and other mountains in the area - 100% as long as I stay healthy. • The trail I followed as the main T marked path which most people take.
