Feel The Weight Of The Club Lag Shot Golf Training Aid

The Lag Shot Driver allows you to exaggerate and feel the club's weight and the loading of the club's shaft. • For Mike, it's about the weight and forces you are feeling. Mike takes us through a drill that uses both hands. • First, take the Lag Shot Driver and hold it with your left hand. Using a baseball grip, swing the club back, and rest it on your shoulder. As you start the downswing, see how the club bounces on your shoulder. This is the club loading. You want to feel this load so the club can snap through the ball on the swing. • Switch to your right hand and do the same thing, swinging the club up to your shoulder and feeling the club bounce as your start the downswing. Again, feel how the club loads and then swing down and feel how the ball snaps into the ball. • Now take both hands and swing to the top. When you change directions, again feel that pressure and weight as the club loads. You can also feel the club bounce above your shoulders to accentuate the feeling.
