He played in several bands, then went solo in 2003 after being influenced by Otomo Yoshihide’s live performances, Derek Bailey’s CDs, and Kaoru Abe’s videos. Saito is engaged in the pursuit of an original kind of minimalism / improvisation. • 1978年12月25日生まれ、福島県福島市在住の音楽家。 幾つかのバンド活動を経た後、大友良英のライブ、デレク・ベイリーのCD、 阿部薫のビデオに影響を受け、2003年よりソロ活動を開始。 独自の即興とミニマリズムを展開し、 2004年より国内外の様々なレーベルから作品を発表している。
