Please find this product at http://absupply.net • This video is to bring you a closer look at the Rockwood 576 Gravity Coordinator. • It is available in different finishes and you can select this on the right. • Gravity Coordinator looks like this and you also get the L angle plate, called the strike plate and another plate , not sure how to call it.. • There is a link with instruction along with a brochure from manufacture under the video. • This is very easy to understand once its installed. • Gravity Coordinator are available in several lengths as well. This is the 7 standard; you can also get a longer version, about 9 which will be important if you have larger doors or some other circumstance. • Fully reversible, fully non handed so it can be used on which any door is the active door on the pair. • Purpose of Coordinator is to allow one door to close before the other. Typical application is when you have a astragal attached to the active door or a setting where you have fire rated door and those doors must be latched. You need to have the situation where they are properly latched if one door is opened or both doors are open. • The astragal from active door will prevent the inactive door from closing; this coordinator allows the doors to close in coordinated fashion. • You attache the base to the header (this is what it looks like in the satin chrome finish) where you need a min of 2 to get this installed. • What you seeing here is the part that comes in the contact with the inactive door first. So, two door will close the active door will hit this roller and be kept open allowing the inactive door to sneak in on the other side. • This strike which will be attached to the inside face of to the top of inactive door will strike the roller on a certain degree by the door continuing to be closed, by its closer , will force this to rise and it's that amount of distance in height from this position to this position is what allows the active door to close in behind the inactive. • Once the inactive door with this attached hits this lob it will force this up and then once this is up, this is mounted to the pole side of the active door so that can rest in a position where is basically horizontal. • The amount of drop that the arm exhibits is something you can control the set screw that is behind. So right now the set screw and roller are in the opposite orientation for one handed door, you have to switch one or the other. • Includes a bag of screws. • Very typical item. • If you have any questions regarding the Rockwood 576 Gravity Coordinator.or any other Rockwood product please feel free to reach out to us.
