Broad Winged Hawk in the Great Smoky Mountains takes off about 60 high atop a big Yellow Buckeye Tree. As is often the case they get chased off by much smaller birds on the offensive as these hawks prey mostly on birds. This video was taken at long range at 1365 mm with the 2x digital tele-converter enabled. A little shaky but not bad considering. • New HD videos uploaded weekly.
