Lorica Segmentata was comprised of overlapping sections of plate, and largely covered the torso and shoulders/upper arm portions of the body. • In this video we'll take a look at the archaeology of lorica segmentata, the artistic evidence, and the primary source evidence that we have in order to determine what lorica segmentata looked like, who used it, and how effective the armor actually was in historical combat.
