Pecan sandies is a cookie that I always had growing up during the holidays. So here is my live demonstration of this recipe. • Recipe for Pecan Sandies: • 1 cup butter • 1/2 cup sugar • 2 teaspoon water • 2 teaspoon vanilla • 2 cup flour • 1 cup chopped pecans • Cream butter and sugar; add 2 tsp. water and vanilla; mix well. Blend in flour and nuts; chill 4 hours. Shape in balls or fingers. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes.
