In this sewing video tutorial I briefly cover what a serger is and how a serger works. A serger is used to professionally finish the inside seams of garments and other sewing crafts. • Since sergers can be pricey and most beginners only have a sewing machine, I also show you how you can also finish your garments and other sewing projects without having to buy a serger. • The technique I show in this video is called a french seam and can be done with any standard home sewing machine.
