“Antyodaya- the rise of the last man” the vision and philosophy of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay has always been a guiding light for many voluntary organizations and individuals including Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN). The morals and ethos of Antodaya directed ISRN to conceptualize the idea of rolling out the study “Documentation and Compilation of best practices of Sustainable Development as Propounded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya” with the support of Ministry of Culture. • About VHAT: • Preventing and responding to violence, exploitation and abuse is essential to ensure children’s rights to survival, development and well-being. Children subjected to violence, exploitation, abuse and neglect are at risk of death, poor physical and mental health, educational problems, homelessness, and poor parenting skills later in life. Voluntary Health Association of Tripura (VHAT), established in 1988 works to strengthen child protection systems and promote positive social norms in all contexts - development and emergency - to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation and abuse directed at children. VHAT initiated a CHILDLINE program in Tripura in • 2003 and Anwesha Child Protection Centre to respond to the issues related to child protection in the state. • Project Aim: • To identify, acknowledge and document the Antyodaya Based Best Practices pan India in aspects of Welfare, Education, Empowerment, Livelihood, Environment, Health and so on. • Ministry of Culture, Government of India has provided financial support to ISRN for conducting the study on “Documentation Compilation of the Best Practices of Sustainable Development as Propounded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya” which aims to collect best practices of Antyodaya based interventions of organizations/individuals, document and share it with a larger audience to motivate and replicate similar models of sustainable development across India. • • About Indian Social Responsibility Network(ISRN): • ISRN is an adaptive amalgamation of networking, knowledge generating and developmental change implementing body with an avowed goal of “relationship beyond funding”. • We aim to partake in the common dream of India attaining the status of a developed nation through the collective efforts, cooperation and strengthening of the four pillars that is-Government, Corporate, Voluntary Organization and Community where-in, all share an authentic interaction. And so each of our efforts, practices and processes compliment align with development and with befitting socially conducive strivings. • It is the driving idiom which we call as the spirit that spurs our society to constant improvement and betterment. • Get the book The Vision of Antyodaya : http://isrn.in/antyodayabook/ • Know more about us: http://isrn.in/ • Follow us on social media: •   / isrnnewdelhi   •   / isrnnewdelhi   •   / isrnnewdelhi   •   / isrnnewdelhi
