The easiest route to hike up Pen Y Fan South Wales tallest mountain

Walk up Pen Y fan, the tallest mountain in south Wales, via the easiest route with us! This whole route can be completed in around 3 hours so is perfect to do with kids or lazy friends who can’t be bothered for full-day mountains. Pont Ar Daf car park is at a reasonably high elevation so it’s much easier to hike this route compared with the other major trails. • The views here are among the best in the Brecon Beacons, I love hiking this route and have done it countless times now. It makes a very good spot to hunt for sunsets and sunrises because you could hike the route easily in the dark.
