[its posible to watch this in HD...you better don't so the mistakes won't be seen] • I'm not dead ^^ • well this would then be what I worked on the last weeks, but I'd rather say what I rendered on...since I rendered it from Blender with single pictures its possible to pause it to do things like sleeping school and stuff...However, counting the days I'd say rendering took me 1 week or so...not that nice, and I hadn't even put those totally annoying stuff on like motion blur, backgroundunsharpness or whatever thats called... • you german? Go see these guys, all I know about blender I know from their tutorials: • / agenzasbrothers • • for anyone who wonders what else I'm doing • I am a bit motivationless lately, wich, for me, is the right time to do stuff like this • • and since I got nothing else to say, I'd first state the differences to my first version, you know, that not worth watching backgroundless training animation I made 9 month ago • well I changed up some things, so I'll just write them down • I got myself to model a stage, but was getting frustrated with making a background or a UV texture for the ground, so instead you have some sparkles in the back that cause lens reflections, just for some atmosphere, and also some generated noise-textures for the ground (I quite like those though) • changes on the models' rigs were made as I rigged Aerith' single hair strends, the necklace and the ribbon (I was not able to make it fall off though) • Also, I changed the rig to IK movement (inverse kinematics) wich made posing easyer and I hoped it would get me some more fluent movement • since I then had problems with posing the Sephiroth model because of a wrong setting on one IK, there now are glitches on Sephiroth's hands I couldn't fix anymore • Still to the rigs, I managed to get the sword an IK after some struggle, so now its not wobbling around anmore while pulling it out • I made an object and material for the white materia, so I now could do the whole scene • the material actually should enlighten the surrounding walls, but even on a high value it only worked for a short radius and you'd then only see a glowing ball, so I added a lamp inside the materia instead • -changed up the UV coordinates, so I could use the facial expression textures that where with the models, so I rendered all the parts with closing eyes twice and edited it in vegas • • ...actually...I had Aerith movement and the stage done back in december, so I also didn't remember what I had done and what not...maybe this caused some troubles you can see now...dunno • other glitches in there: • -no clue if vegas rendered all pictures... • ...wait, I know where those come from...must have something to do with the eyes and stuff • -materia movement looks shitty because of the camera movement • -glitches on sephiroth's arms and hands, I mentioned earlier • -normals on the stage didn't work properly,one fo the things I had given up on • -for some reason some textures decided to not be transparent sometimes...or maybe never where... • -Sephroth is higher than the lamp that lightens the altar while he jumps, I wanted to fix that, but thought it looked pretty cool in some way... • -camera angles where hard to imitate, because of the different model size, different aspect ratio, Sephiroth's way too long sword I already criticized last time (also made posing hard) and the newer version of the placement of Aerith' front hair strends, wich covers her eyes • -the water surface is glitchy, and I don't know why • -still about the water, it was impossible to me to make those little ripples because I used an deformation simulator that is thought for oceans, I guess • • music used is Aerith theme remastered version • • Video • • huge thanks to IceQueen1387 who once encouraged me to completely remake this ;D • and thanks to everyone else who watched and commented to the earlier version
