Hi everyone! • Aaron here. Recently I purchased some new 2D animation software for my Cintiq here at home. In trying to figure out the bells and whistles on it I decided to try animating a little scribbly pose test of Walt discovering he can reach through the canvas. • You're getting a sneak peak into my process. When I animate my scenes, this is how I start. Very loose and rough to try and get the acting and action across as quickly as possible. You'll also notice that not all of the drawings are there yet to make the movement smooth. I do that later after I've become satisfied with the timing of everything. • At this stage it's my goal to get the character to think. It's not just movement that brings these characters to life, it's what's going on in their heads.
