Jerk chicken with a homemade marinade.â €#shorts #jerkchicken #tasty • â € • This turned out amazing and was pretty easy to make too. For the marinade:â € • â € • 1 chopped white onionâ € • 3-4 chopped green onionsâ € • 2 habanero peppersâ € • 1 tbsp each: black pepper, five spice powder, ground allspice, brown sugarâ € • 1 tsp each: dried thyme, ginger, saltâ € • ¼ cup soy sauce and a some olive oilâ € • â € • Mix in a blender and pour the mixture over your chicken. Save about ¼ cup for basting.â € • â € • I marinated the chicken overnight, then it hit the @biggreenegg at 350 degrees, direct, flipping every few minutes to get a nice char and crust on the outside. The last few minutes, mop the chicken with the saved marinade. Pull, rest a few minutes and enjoy.â € • â € • Probably one of my favorite things I made recently. Spicy, smoky, a little sweet, super good!
