This is the Kehlsteinhaus (known as the Eagle's Nest). It is a Nazi-constructed building at the summit of the Kehlstein located near the town of Berchtesgaden, Germany. It was used exclusively by members of the Nazi Party for government and social meetings. The site is seasonally open as a restaurant and tourist site from May to October. • You can take bus# 838 from Berchtesgaden Hauptbahnhof to Dokumentationszentrum Obersalzberg bus stop and then buy a ticket at the ticket office to take a special bus to go up to the Eagle's Nest tunnel where you have to walk through the tunnel to the reach the elevator that will take you up to the summit. • Berchtesgaden is just a 50-minute bus ride from Salzburg, Austria.
