Pahoehoe lava fills cracks, then drops 90 degrees down a sheer rock face that ends abruptly, forcing the lava to stretch and contort into a thin, flexible sheet. The sheet of lava is so thin that you can see the sharp edge of the rock beneath it, most dramatically at 0:34 - 0:40 and 1:12 - 1:24.
