Recently one of the subscribers to the channel asked if I’d quit shooting Evanix guns. I told him that not only had I been shooting some new Evanix guns recently, but had been working one up for an upcoming video. And here it is! In this video I share my initial experience with the Evanix REX FA 45 PCP, the companies latest single shot big bore in .457; that offers power, accuracy, a high shot count, and a unique cocking mechanism. • I’ll run you through a little plinking, a six shot 50-yard group, and shoot a string over the chrony as I prep the rifle for an upcoming pig hunt in Texas. I was shooting the JSB XXL .457 Diabolo pellet and later will work up some cast lead bullets. • The results I obtained were very promising, my only unfavorable comment is that the trigger was very heavy out of the box, and while it significantly improved after some tinkering, it is still a fairly heavy pull.
