Try this modern presentation of one of my favorites - traditional French Onion Soup. Traditional French Onion Soup has a wonderful broth topped with crusty bread and a ton of cheese. I love it. But sometimes all that bread and cheese is just a bit much, and I'm looking to cut it back a bit. • In this French Onion Soup Recipe, I make the onion broth the same way, but instead of topping it all with the cheese, I float one little cheese covered crouton right in the middle.
