Episode 1 of a (planned/work in progress) series. • This episode involves the Vocaloids and their hilarious experiences involving food. Yum! XD • Skit Listing: • A Different Kind of Dealer (0:10) • Dial Ai for Aisu (1:36) • Cooking with Luka (2:41) • Representation Complication (2:59) • And Now, for the Regularly Scheduled Advertisement (4:33) • • • ~~ • For anyone who doesn't know, Vocaloids are basically synthesized voices used to sing songs and create music. A lot of the more popular ones have been made by a Japanese company called Crypton Future Media. • Many of Crypton's Vocaloids have been given avatars, and those avatars were eventually given some characteristics by enthusiastic fans, thus creating sort of semi-characters. • However, they really haven't been given any sort of official personalities or characterizations, seeing as they're essentially VOICES WITH AVATARS, not full-fledged characters. This leaves a LOT of creative liberty for people who want to make animes, mangas, and other things from the characters. • What I've done is basically take the semi-characters that the fans have made and tweaked them a bit to make them into funny characters. Here is a list of said characters: • Meiko: A red-clad, sarcastic, and often irritable lady. She's quite upset by her decreasing popularity in the Vocaloid fandom. Doesn't take crazy shenanigans or occurrences very well. Could be considered the most sane character of the series. Item: Sake (Japanese Alcohol) • Miku: A very bubbly, happy-go-lucky girl who is very childlike. She isn't often fazed by the crazy things that happen to her and her friends; in fact, she often takes it as the norm. Often makes fun of Meiko's age and/or unpopularity without realizing it. Item: Leeks/Negi • Kaito: A rather dumb, but lovable man who is driven by nothing more than the thought of having ice cream. Very incompetent, but can show rare signs of intelligence and wisdom at times. Item: Ice Cream • Rin and Len: Yellow-haired identical twins that often act as stock-ish characters (meaning they can appear at any time and any place to serve any purpose for the plot.). This leads to them being considered a bit mysterious and somewhat creepy (but only subtly). Items: Orange (Rin) and Banana (Len) • Luka: A pink-haired woman who seems to run all kinds of TV shows. She is obsessed with tuna, to the point of using the word in every sentence (or, in some cases, as the only word in her sentences). A rather quiet and introverted character otherwise. Item: Tuna
