How to Setup Sinden Light Gun in MAME

Get it here: • https://withkoji.com/@RetroGamerSE/0qa4 • • Hello retro gamers, I've recently got a Sinden and I want to make a tutorial for mame Insert Sinden USB to any USB port of your PC • Follow the link's website, you can read everything if you want Click the link to Sinden Software • I found that version 1.08 works with Windows 11 that I'm using and the version 2.01 beta is best suited for 2 Sinden guns • Just click version 1.08 link to download, extract the zip folder Go to Mame config folder and copy gunmouse.cfg to your mame's ctrlr folder • Go to Sinden Lightgun folder You need to check the settings for camera permissions • Go to settings, privacy and security, find camera • Make sure Camera access is on, Let apps access your camera is on and let desktop apps access your camera is also on • Configure your mouse sensitivity to your preference, you don't need to maximize it • Run Lightgun.exe in Sinden Lightgun folder • Make sure you check I agree to the licensing terms and conditions Next, go to cursor offset tab Input your monitor screen size, I'm using a 32 inches. • Click Save settings before you go to other tabs I did not mess with the border tab settings • Go to select lightgun, you can click refresh if sinden is not showing Highlight Sinden Lightgun Blue COM 3 • Click Select Lightgun Click Get lightgun info to checl your firmware, I updated my sinden to version 1.8 • Go to configuration tab and you can click Start in the upper right so that the Sinden camera will turn on • You can uncheck sleep mode enabled • You can also adjust anti jitter. I use 3 percent • Ideally, your processed video on the right should be blue to have accurate lightgun gameplay • Start Mame64.exe • Click configure options • Device mapping • Set lightgun device assignment to mouse • Set trackball device assignment to mouse • Set adstick device assignment to mouse • Set mouse device assignment to lightgun • Go to previous menu and go to advammce options Set offscreen reload to ON • Check multi-mouse is on Set lightgun is on • Click Save configuration and exit for now • Press rear right button to turn border on before running mame as I encounter a problem in which the lightgun trigger input is both mouse left and mouse right • Open mame.ini and set writeconfig to 1, check gunmouse is in ctrlr line under core input options, save and exit • Run mame64.exe and go to configure options • Go to general inputs go to player 1 controls • Set P1 button 1 to your trigger • Set P1 Button to to your pump action or front left button • Set P1 Button 3 to rear left button • Go up to get to lightgun X analog which should be Gun 5 X and lightgun Y analog as Gun 5 Y. • Do the same with AD stick X analog and AD Stick Y analog • Click save configuration • Let's try Lethal enforcers 2 • turn on border • lightgun works perfectly, offscreen works • Now exit the game and go to cfg folder • Open default.cfg, copy the lines from start of port type to end of port type • Open gunmouse.cfg in ctrlr folder, paste the lines under the mapdevice line for guncode 8 click save and exit • Now test other lightgun games and all configs will be ready everytime you play them. • #sinden,#howtosetup,#shootinggame,sinden light gun,sinden light gun setup,mame light gun games,mame light gun setup,mame light gun,mame sinden setup,mame sinden light gun,retro gaming,light gun • • sinden mame setup,sinden mame,how to set up sinden light gun,sinden light gun arcade
