But there was always something so magical about fairies to me. I never could forget the fairy king from one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays (let me know if you know which one I’m talking about, heh). • I’m 34 years old now, but sometimes I still feel like the little lonely kid I was trying to find myself and the confidence I needed to become my own fairy king of sorts. I’m still trying to remember to love myself and to be proud of who I have become. I guess self-discovery is a lifelong journey. • I’ve been having dreams of me living as a fairy in a forest of fairy friends, and that’s what inspired this song. I guess with everything happening in the world right now, I keep dreaming of an escape from reality.
