In this lesson, I go over the whole masculine/feminine thing in Spanish. While not nearly as hard to get as all the verb conjugations, the sexuality of nouns still gives Spanish students a lot of trouble at the beginning. Or at least that's how it was for me. • If you only took one thing away from this lesson, I'd want it to be don't worry about this too much. Follow my directions in the video. I tell you what to focus on, what not to focus on, and the best way to get this stuff down. • But if you go out there and get it wrong every single time. If you treat every feminine word as a masculine one and every masculine word as a feminine one, you're still going to be understood 99% of the time. • But it's better to get this right now, because in future videos, you'll be learning more stuff that will follow these same rules exactly.
