Chiffon Cake • ✔️Batter • 4 egg yolks [large size] • 1/4 cup sugar [50 grams] • 1/4 cup water (or milk if preferred) [60 ml] • 1/4 cup oil (any cooking oil) [60 ml] • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract [2.5 ml] • 1 cup cake flour [120 grams] • 1 tsp baking powder [4 grams] • 1/4 tsp salt [1.5 grams] • ✔️Meringue • 4egg whites [large size] • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar [1 gram] • 1/4 cup sugar [50 grams] • •Cake Pan size used: 8x3 inch • (Greasing the cake pan is not required.) • Bake in a preheated oven @ 170 C for 30-35 mins. or until light browned top. • It can be cooked in a steamer over medium heat for 25-30mins. or check doneness with toothpick. (Cover the cake pan with foil when steaming.) • ❗️Baking time may vary on the type function of the oven. I used conventional gas oven with bottom heat function only. • Looking for more recipes?
