Mom's Tuna Sandwich • As a kid my favorite lunch was always my Mom's tuna sandwich. It's delicious, nutritious, high in protein and high in calories. Great for giving you great nutrition and energy throughout the day! Here I show you the best I can remember on how this sandwich was made. It's fast and easy. First you'll need a can of tuna, a stalk of celery, four baby carrots a medium piece of cheddar cheese, three tablespoons of mayonnaise and four pieces of whole grain or 12 grain bread. Salt and pepper is optional but helps make the flavor jump out. First you need to separate each of the ingredients into separate bowls. The tuna needs to be separated into really fine pieces with a utensil. Also the carrots, celery and cheese needs to be in really small pieces for full flavor integration into the tuna fish. You then place the carrots, celery and cheese in with the tuna fish. The key ingredient is the three full tablespoons of mayonnaise. Before you mix them up place the first set of toast into the toaster with a level 4 out of 6 set on the toaster heat gauge. This allows the toast to be perfectly ready by the time the mixing is done. When mixing make sure you go real slow and through, don't worry about time just think how delicious the sandwich will be. Then you add just a bit of salt and pepper and keep mixing. When the fist set of toast pops fill up the sandwich with half the container of tuna fish mixture. When the second set of toast pops place the second half of the tuna mixture in the second sandwich. This creates two mammoth big sandwiches which are delicious nutritious and full of energy. This is a perfect meal for someone who is a hard working construction person, a kid coming home from school or a person like myself trying to put on some weight in a healthy way. Don't forget to add a big glass of milk to complete the meal. All together this meal is just over 1000 calories. So thanks alot Mom for this wonderful all time lunch favorite. I love to eat it any time of day or night. Here I dress in my James Dean style outfit.
