When I sat down to record this one, I was confident I could nail all the parts, but my voice would systematically break on the early held B flat. I really wanted to sing it in the modal register, so I had to give up and retry the next day. Luckily it worked fine then, and I was even able to hit the later C sharp without going falsetto. • Both of those notes were impossible to me before I began this project; it's training me as I go.
