Labor Day 2012 marked the inaugural Rise Above Fest in New Hampshire, a charity event that was formed by Seether in conjunction with NAMI (National Association of Mental Illness) to raise funds for and awareness of suicide prevention and mental illness. • I lost my brother 5 years ago to suicide and it never gets easier, Shaun said. This whole festival came about as a dedication to him and I think in a way to make a meaningless tragedy like that become meaningful.
