I try to let my kids help me with any baking I do and and with some easy cooking recipes as well. They learn about ingredients, how to combine them in bowls and in our case how one seed turns into food we can harvest and make delicious meals with. • In this recipe I use homemade organic roasted pumpkin puree from pumpkins we grew in our garden this year. I also use one duck egg from our free-ranging ducks. It is very gratifying to raise or grow your own food and I'm thankful I can give my kids this farming lifestyle.
