In this LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga new gameplay trailer breakdown video we go over the new Capital Ship gameplay showcased in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Developer Diary trailer showcased at IGN Fan Fest 2022. • This LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga news update behind the scenes trailer gave us a great look at brand new gameplay details. We got a great look at how space combat and space encounters with Capital Ships will play out. It will be a multi stage process starting off with defeating the defenses of the Capital Ships (turbo lasers). This will be followed by boarding the Capital Ship (shown in the gameplay trailer by Poe Dameron boarding the Steadfast First Order Star Destroyer with his X-Wing). Finally, there will be a boss battle between the player and the Captain of the ship. After all these steps have been completed the player will take ownership of that Capital Ship! • It is not clear how controllable these Capital Ships will be, however one confirmed hidden detail from the gameplay trailer was that players will be able to store their ships within the hanger of the Capital Ship and select which ship they want to fly from terminals in the hanger. This means that players will be able to toggle between say the Millennium Falcon and Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing if they own both. • Was this gameplay? YES. Was this a trailer with a release date?
