Mephibosheth worried that David might try to hurt him. • But when Mephibosheth came to David, he welcomed and told him how Jonathan, his father was his good friend. • David wanted to show him kindness. • Mephibosheth couldn't believe it. • He bowed down and said he was not worthy. • ## • David gave back to Mephibosheth all the land that had belonged to Saul. • He told Saul's servant to farm the land for Mephibosheth and to provide for him all he needed. • King David said that Mephibosheth would always eat with him at the king's table. • From that day on, Mephibosheth ate at David's table like one of the king's sons.
