The Winter King was a frosty wad for 100 years until his reign was ended by a magic-draining kiss from Fionna that turned him into dust. Simon Petrikov is vindicated, and all is well. Except that Simon still thinks he can get cursed the correct way, and Fionna is only just starting to realize the tragedy that has followed the group’s wake as they hop across worlds. Episode 6 of Fionna Cake still leaves our central cast on the backburner, but it was a delightful romp through the snow with the Winter King and a sweet dulcet chorus of sugary goodness with the Candy Queen (the song Baked With Love is gonna be stuck in my head).
