An improvement on my 150 / Normal run (   • NieR:Automata DLC - Desert Coliseum S...  ). Weapons and chips are shown at the end of the video. Combat bracers are my preference, but I'm not sure if a weapon with a critical+ bonus like Ancient Overlord, Spear of the Usurper, etc. would make things easier. • Things were going well until I ran straight into one of the kamikaze dudes and forgot about P Shield, then it went downhill from there. I think with a flawless run, you could manage 200+ kills with this setup. • A few tips below, some are copied from my Flooded City Coliseum video. The most important one is to Taunt. Make sure you taunt at the start of every wave and maintain it. You need to be very aggressive. Try to learn enemy placements using the mini-map, taunt and attack as quickly as possible. • Pod B's laser is useful for blocking projectiles and charging / firing into the floor or air. While your HP goes down in Berserk Mode, you'll want the next wave of enemies to land so you can attack and keep your HP replenished. Enemies are flown in on machine flyers and you can destroy these using the laser, dropping the enemies into the arena sooner. Aiming the laser at the floor will cause the beams to bounce upwards, striking the flyers [e.g. 1:07]. • The Demon's Cry bracer has a few benefits. It delivers attacks very quickly, allows you to taunt quickly (this applies to all bracers), and it has the incredibly useful Devil's Hatred bonus, which delivers a finishing blow shock wave that tears through the groups of enemies in this trial. When a number of enemies appear, let them surround you before striking to take a few of them out in a single hit [e.g. 1:49]. You have to make contact with the weapon for it to work, the Shock Wave chip won't trigger it. • With the Offensive Heal chip equipped, you can replenish your health when you strike an enemy even if you get hit at the same time [e.g. 1:16]. • When you evade and trigger Overclock, don't kill all the enemies too quickly before Overclock runs out. In Berserk Mode, your health might deplete before the next wave of enemies appears. • For the legpower goliaths [0:50] charge P Shield and use it before the goliaths land, get in close and take them out quickly. As they die, they'll still be dangerous because of their electrified legs, so move to the perimeter of the arena. • The 3 gun-wielding medium bipeds [3:10] can be a pain, take them out before the shielded bipeds. Afterwards, wait in the middle and taunt as the goliaths land, then quickly kill the two legpower models as they're more dangerous than the two regular goliaths. Charge P Shield while you're doing this and have it ready for the next group of enemies. • The tank [3:45] is accompanied by kamikaze/exploder machines that are really annoying. The tank can be taken down quickly as shown, but make sure P Shield is charged and ready for the exploders. Also make sure you actually strike them to keep your HP up, or you'll be thrown out of Berserk Mode and left vulnerable. After this wave, the cycle repeats.
