Tangerine Dream made a visit to San Diego! The tour included a lineup of Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick. How impressive their sound continues to be. A group that was founded in the late 60's and continues to produce such amazing synthesized music! I may be wrong, but I believe this may have been their first visit to San Diego! They have definitely performed for southern California in Los Angeles, but not San Diego! I hope for their return, for they are the premier sound for new age synthesized music! Who has ever seen a single finale that was 55 minutes in length? Amazing... • This particular encore finale in San Diego included the lineup of Thorsten, Hoshiko, Paul, and special guest Steve Roach. But, to truly enjoy this, one has to see and hear their compositions in a theater with supporting acoustics! That was the case for us at the El Cajon Magnolia theater! GREAT acoustics! But, a recording does not truly do the justice which it truly deserves...
