Chiming Clock Contest 3

I got requests to do a chiming clock contest featuring two of my clocks that chime on bells, so I decided to do just that. This features my Seth Thomas 5-Bell Sonora Westminster chime manel clock and my Franz Hermle glass dome clock. For those of you unfamiliar with my two clocks, here it is: • SETH THOMAS 5-BELL WESTMINSTER SONORA CHIME MANTEL CLOCK • I was inspired by the other 5-bell Sonora chime clock videos that I watched in the past. The movement wasn't secured when I first got it, but only because there were some screws that were missing. Whoever had this clock before I did must have taken very good care of it. The case is still in pretty good shape after all these years. • The first set of videos was recorded on August 28th, 2021 and the second on December 9th, 2021. • FRANZ HERMLE WESTMINSTER BELL CHIME GLASS DOME CLOCK • This one has bells, and you can see the movement through the glass dome. Unfortunately, one side came apart during shipment, but I have a special glue to get it back together; however, I haven't had a chance to test it yet. This has an automatic night silence function where the first chime of the day goes off at 7 a.m. and the last chime of the day goes off at 9:45 p.m. Those chimes were recorded in August 2023. • Which do YOU like better? • NOTE: • There may be some chiming interference with the Seth Thomas Sonora chime clock because some of my other clocks are chiming in the background. I always want to try and have others chime when I can, but I also want to try and get a clock to chime alone when I can. Since I don't have any other videos of it at this point, I had to make due with what I had. But more clock videos will be coming in the near future. In the meantime, please stay tuned. • Also, if anyone can tell me what that part is that falls at 4:57 and 10:33, let me know. Don't worry, it's normal, and everything works in both clocks. I was just curious as to what it was. I think it might be part of the rack and snail. At any rate, I hope you enjoy the contest.
