How To Retwist Locs

In this video I show you how I retwist my locs. I have used clips and dryers in the past and have had my hair palm-rolled and interlocked before by professional locticians. I have nothing against these methods. I use this finger twirl method out of convenience - it takes me hours to retwist my entire head. This way is easiest on my arms. And retwisting just the front edges saves me hours! This takes me about 30 minutes. As you can see in this video, I retwist not just the roots but down the length of the locs also, to tame the frizzies for a neater look. • My roots are extremely thick because I do not retwist often. Typically once a month or so although I currently wash weekly. When I want a neat look without retwisting my entire head, I retwist the front edges only. I use this same technique when retwisting my entire head. • I started on freshly washed air-dried hair. I sprayed Rose Water before retwisting on any sections that felt dry. You can see in this video that I am twirling my hair around the loc and not twisting the loc itself in order to protect my roots. • Thank you for watching, liking, and subscribing :) • Watch my flaxseed gel tutorial here: • Loccrush makes Flaxseed Gel • You can find all of my favorite products in my Amazon Store here: http://astore.amazon.com/ofgracandgra... • Follow me on Instagram @loccrush. • Creative Commons Attribution Music: Flutter by, Butterfly (Instrumental) by Josh Woodward - http://www.joshwoodward.com
