In this video, I share my perspectives after attending a recent CoinGeek event featuring speakers like Zach WS, Jack Liu, Raphael, and Jimmy Nguyen. Their talks inspired me to think about how blockchain businesses need to change their focus to benefit users directly through tokenization and tokenomics. • I explain my own hesitations around the legality of token offerings, but share how reading cases like the SEC vs Binance ruling has opened my mind. While we still must be careful, innovative token models may allow users to earn value. I use examples like early investors in Tesla receiving shares to illustrate the potential. • Stepping back as a neutral observer of the blockchain space, I argue that the original Bitcoin protocol (BSV chain) has the most potential for these models. However, the challenge is uniting projects instead of infighting. I suggest that if we shift our mindset to help users profit directly, it can supercharge adoption and success. • In summary, I issue a call to action for the industry to evolve past old business ideals of profiting shareholders. Instead, we must start designing token-powered systems where everyone can benefit together.
