#morocco #ouzoudwaterfalls #andy1803 • Ouzoud waterfalls probably are the highest waterfalls in Maroc and surely the most attractive. Located at an altitude of 1060 meters on the Middle Atlas Mountains, in Ouzoud valley (Oued Ouzoud), the river falls down for around one hundred meters in several rocky pools after three jumps. Nature here is at its best, with colorful rainbows, strong water sounds and a peaceful countryside all around. • Ouzoud is 150 kilometers far from Marrakech. So you can plan a one day visit by car leaving early in the morning. The site is easy to access in. You have to leave your car in the Berber village on the top of the waterfalls and walk down a few minutes to reach the bottom of the valley. Alternatively, you can stop along the olive grove and go down through one of the several trails. There is also a restaurant to have lunch with a great view in front of you. • If you need help, you may ask to local people.
