I recently found myself inexplicably in Ohio, with a little bit of time to kill when I stumbled upon this abandoned warehouse complex, and these old brick buildings ππππππ to me, as they do, you know the feeling! • Inside I found some classic derelict brick building shots; the type of industrial decay I love to photograph. • As I cautiously ventured further in, I came to a hole busted through a boarded-up doorway, and what I found in there...I was not expecting, and it gave me pause honestly. • Looks like it used to be an antique store, or storage for an antique store. • And it made the place look not quite as πππππππππ as I had initially thought. • The scene made me think of one of the southern buildings of the old Packard complex in Detroit, Michigan. Someone lived in there. He π πππ he had permission to live there as a caretaker, but you know he was probably just squatting. • But he had amassed a flea market hoard-type collection... • including π‘βπ πππ π‘ πβππ‘πππππβππ πππππππππ πππ ππ π·ππ‘ππππ‘... • Anyway, that's what popped in my mind when I found these collection rooms in Ohio. No vintage automobile, but there was a unique old vehicle out back, which you'll see at the end of the video. • • #abandonedwarehouse #abandonedfactory #onlyinohio • Disclaimer: Pinetop Jackson does not break into buildings. • Every location we document is open with no sings warning against trespassing present at the time of visit. We do not vandalize. While we do respect the graffiti and street art encountered, we do not practice this art. • Our goal and our intent is to document these historically significant locations for posterity, and we enter them with respect. • We take nothing but photos (and video!) and leave nothing but footprints.
