KL Hokkien Mee is a famous Malaysian dish that taste delicious. It is simple and easy to make in the itaki with just a few ingredients. Traditionally, this dish is made with yellow thick noodles but I decided to use udon instead. If yellow noodles are available to you, just substitute it for a more authentic dish. I used frozen udon, frozen white fish balls and frozen shrimp. All turned out good. This dish tasted great although we cannot achieve the high heat wok flavor. But from what we can get though the itaki, I feel this is really good. Do give this noodle dish a try and let us know how it goes. • • Get your itaki at: https://www.itakico.com/coolcucumbercook • • • Ingredient: • 50g - cabbage • 3 (45g) - white fish balls • 100g - pork belly • 50g - shrimp • 1/4 tsp - dashi powder • 1 square - frozen udon • 1/3 cup - water (udon) • 1/3 cup - water (itaki) • Sauce: • 2 Tbsp - dark soy sauce • 1 tsp - soy sauce • 1 tsp - sugar • 1/8 tsp - garlic powder • • Available on Amazon: • Trivet Silicon Mat - https://amzn.to/3m3T06e • Mini Oven Mitts - https://amzn.to/3ypVXTj • • Music: Carefree Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) • Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b... • Music promoted on https://www.chosic.com • • DISCLAIMER: Links included in this description might be affiliate links.
