A mashup I made of Ryan Block's famous Comcast cancellation phone call, and Captain Picard's There are 4 lights! episode. • In July, 2014, Veronica Belmont called Comcast to cancel service. After 10 minutes of frustration, she gave the phone to her husband, Ryan Block, and they started recording. Ryan uploaded the call to / comcastic-service and Veronica tweeted it to her million+ followers, garnering national news coverage. • The 8-minute call reminded me of the torture and mind-games Captain Picard suffered at the hands of Gul Madred in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Season 6 Episode 11, Chain of Command, Part II , the one with Picard's famous line, There are 4 lights!
