ChefZone Supports Hawaii’s Future Chefs. The host for this show is Sheryl Matsuoka. The guests are Rian Sato and Erin Yagi. • Every year, ChefZone donates 5% of all sales for one day to the Hawaiʻi Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (HRAEF). This is known as Charity Day. This year, it will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The HRA Educational Foundation supports the foodservice and hospitality industry in Hawaiʻi through the ProStart educational program at participating Hawaiʻi highschools that educate aspiring culinary industry leaders and superstars. This day supports the philanthropic missions of the National Restaurant Association (NRA) and the Hawaiʻi Restaurant Association (HRA).
