MMDA return to Baclaran

The MMDA return to Baclaran and while the front side looks a lot cleaner, things have actually gotten worse under the LRT station. • Videos are first released on / ytgadgetaddict and comments can be left there. • The vendors ran all new power lines throghout the area, broke down another metal barrier in the middle of the road and occupied more space with their stalls. • When the MMDA aren't there, they occupy all of the sidewalks and completely block the road. This either prevents vehicles from passing through or forces them to a crawl. • Again public transport like jeepneys have stopped passing through the area because it's either blocked or they get harrassed. That means commuters using the train station are forced to walk through all the stalls and to the end of the road where they can again use public transport. • No one is expecting an overnight miracle but this is unfortunately a step backwards and shows what the MMDA are up against. • There are so many things around Metro Manila that need the MMDAs attention and unfortunately this resistance from the vendors in Baclaran will consume a lot of their resources and hold back progress in other areas.
